Foodnote Festival in Utrecht

From 6 to 17 September, Foodnote Festival will take place in Utrecht. During this festival, you can enjoy great food, learn a lot and think along about the future of food.

The overarching theme of the festival is food evolution. The journey food has made over the years and will make in the future is explored. From the artisanal hunters and gatherers of centuries ago, through today’s experimental laboratories, to the food of the future.

Chef robot

To illustrate this, each era has its own food truck with a matching menu. At the festival, you can eat a piece of meat cooked over an open fire, but also a futuristic dish prepared by a robot.

Programme

At Foodnote, you can attend lectures, take part in workshops or sink into your chair during film nights. For example, during the ‘turn your trash into treasure’ workshop, you will learn how to combat food waste, while Fungi Factory explains how to grow your own oyster mushrooms.

Foodnote Festival will take place from 6 to 17 September 2017 at Genevelaan on Utrecht Science Park. Admission is free.
