For all Champagne lovers: Festival Fête du Champagne is coming again!

After not having visited a festival for a year and a half, the time has finally come. We’re back! And first up, we’re heading to the Fête Du Champagne festival in Amsterdam, with endless amounts of Champagne, French snacks and games.

The celebration of love
The theme of this edition of the Champagne celebration is L’été de l’amour, or: the Summer of love. “This year, our L’été de l’amour edition is above all a celebration where, for the first time in a long time, we can dance, flirt and toast to our love for one another and for life,” says organiser Ivar Beukeboom.
And snacks from French cuisine are the perfect match for such an incredible glass of French bubbly. These are prepared by (top) chefs from various food trucks. In the meantime, you can challenge yourself to a game of pétanque or, also fun: sabre your own Champagne!

Top Champagne houses
At the Champagne festival, lovers and connoisseurs of this prestigious drink will want for nothing. You can taste Champagne from various top Champagne houses. How about Bollinger Champagne, James Bond’s go-to bubbly? Or try a glass of Ayala, one of FavorFlav’s Sharon’s personal favourites: “Sunday morning with fresh madeleines and Ayala Rosé Majeur—heavenly!”
Besides the real deal bubbles from Champagne, you can also taste Crémants from all over France.

Be quick
The Fête du Champagne festival will take place from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 July in Rembrandtpark in Amsterdam. Official ticket sales start on Monday 7 June at 11:00 a.m. To celebrate the return of Fête du Champagne, a ticket costs €10 (excluding service fee). This includes a coupe glass (which you may take home) and a welcome glass of bubbly from Domaine de la Baume.
