For all cheese lovers: you don’t want to miss this cheese extravaganza
An extensive lunch with tables laden with delicious cheeses, freshly sliced charcuterie, salads, soup and freshly baked bread… doesn’t that sound absolutely wonderful? But it gets even better, because alongside this lunch there is also a cheese dinner. And you can be there!
Our favorite cheese affineur Bourgondisch Lifestyle is organizing a ‘Cheese & Inspiration’ day on October 24, where you’ll be immersed in… cheese! During this day, you’ll learn an incredible amount about cheese in the most enjoyable way possible: by tasting it—and hearing the story behind the cheese as you taste. And because cheese pairs so well with wine, there will also be all kinds of wines to sniff and sample during this delicious and inspiring day.

It has been researched, and guess what: cheese and wine help keep you smart, so that’s all the more reason to put this day in your calendar soon. Joking aside, research shows that cheese offers a surprisingly high degree of protection against age-related cognitive problems—did you know that? I think it’s an extra good reason to eat plenty of cheese.

The Cheese & Inspiration day will take place on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the Posthoornkerk (Haarlemmerstraat 124-126, Amsterdam). Lunch starts at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. and costs €45; a few tickets are still available.
The dinner takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The price for the cheese dinner is €95, which gets you a 5-course gastronomic cheese menu, including all drinks. You can order tickets for the event here.
