Fun outing: Campari Cinema Nights (and it’s free too!)
Watching a film with a Spritz on your lips? How cozy does that sound? Campari, the iconic aperitivo from Milan, is organizing two special ‘Campari Cinema Nights’. While enjoying your favorite Spritz, you can watch classic Italian films such as ‘La Grande Bellezza’ and ‘La Dolce Vita’ on June 13 and 20. Admission is free, and you’ll also get a free Spritz and popcorn! Salute!
You may not know this, but Campari’s roots lie in the fashion city of Milan, where Gaspare Campari developed a liqueur in 1860 that would change the world. The ingredients of this bittersweet drink have remained a closely guarded secret ever since. Campari became famous not only for its surprising flavor, but also for its innovative marketing and strong connection to art and film.
Campari Cinema Nights
Federico Fellini, the legendary director of ‘La Dolce Vita’, made his first commercial for Campari in 1984. Since then, countless celebrities such as Salma Hayek and Benicio del Toro have been associated with the brand. With the Cinema Nights, Campari is brightening up the Dutch summer (don’t look outside right now..) with a tribute to Italian cinema—and of course, we’ll be drinking a Spritz with it.
