German Beer and Bratwurst at Die Bierstube

Get your lederhosen out of the closet, because Die Bierstube is opening its doors in the Markthal at the beginning of May. Besides beer and bratwurst, the menu will also feature plenty of other German delicacies.

You no longer have to cross the border for a German beer hall: soon, that beer hall will simply be located in Rotterdam’s Markthal. You can sing along to German schlager songs to your heart’s content while drinking steins of beer and tucking into bratwurst. What more could a person want?
Welcome addition
Die Bierstube’s German concept is completely new to the Markthal, so according to a spokesperson for owner Kléppiere, it is certainly a welcome addition, she tells AD. The venue is currently being fitted out and expects to be ready in two to two and a half months. Then the German party can begin. You can celebrate there, of course, but you will also soon be able to get food to take away.
Private parties are also possible. So, are schlager songs, beer and sausage your greatest passions? Then you know where you’ll be celebrating your next birthday.
