Good news for Vapiano fans!

Restaurant chain Vapiano, with eleven locations in the Netherlands, including in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague, was declared bankrupt on 30 April. But good news for all Vapiano fans: there will be a relaunch.

Vapiano’s first location opened in Hamburg in 2002 and it quickly proved to be a success: the concept was rolled out across Europe and other parts of the world. Vapiano also has locations in Australia and South America. Vapiano recently went bankrupt – the chain cited the coronavirus outbreak as the reason – but now there is good news after all.
Relaunch
The chain has managed to make a relaunch possible. If the hospitality industry is allowed to reopen on 1 June, Vapiano’s doors will open again too. “We are incredibly happy for our employees and guests that Vapiano Netherlands can continue in a positive way. We thank everyone involved for their commitment and trust,” said the chain’s spokesperson. Vapiano’s fans are more than happy with this news, as shown by the many reactions on Facebook. “Best news of the entire week, already”, “I know what I’ll be doing on 1 June”, “well then, luckily!!!!!”
