Watermelon season has been in full swing for a while now. Delicious, but let’s be honest: apart from lugging one of those things around, cutting one into pieces is also quite a job. Luckily, the worldwide web has a solution for everything.
A video by ‘eternalrefuge86‘ is making the rounds on Reddit, titled ‘An easy way to slice watermelon‘. Well, eternalrefuge86, we’re curious to see how you do it. It turns out to be super simple: they use dental floss. First to separate the flesh from the rind, and then to cut the pieces into triangles. Easy does it.
Just be careful which kind of dental floss you buy: it often has a mint flavor. Although some Reddit users consider that a bonus: “Then your watermelon tastes like watermelon mojito!” Not bad either.
