Yes, yes! We have another tasty frikandel update for you. After last week’s deep-fryer nightstand – with a drawer for a mini deep fryer from Lidl – Snackbar Happy Frites is stealing the show with their frikandel of the month: The Beast.

Happy Frites in Ransdaal, known for its XXL frikandel platters, has recently added the spiciest frikandel ever to the menu. The Beast is inspired by one of the famous Marvel comic-book characters and, as Mathies Soons told Snackkoerier, is the spiciest of its kind thanks to its toppings. This version consists of an open-cut frikandel with andalouse sauce (the quintessential Flemish sauce made with mayonnaise, tomato purée and herbs, often served with fries), fried onions and Sriracha. Here at the FavorFlav editorial office, we put the latter on almost everything, so we completely understand this combination. This is pure indulgence for anyone who loves both frikandellen and spicy food.
