Jopenbier expands: craft beer now also available in cans

I’m such a sucker for craft beer. And before corona, I mainly drank it out (as in: back when the hospitality industry was still open); these days, I’m increasingly bringing it home. We can’t just pop by the Jopen Church for a beer tasting right now, so yes: I brought all of these home.

It’s also great that Jopenbier has a non-alcoholic beer (well, almost: 0.3%), because some of them are so strong that I really need it as a change of pace.

Jopenbier now also available in cans

Previously, you could recognize Jopenbier by the bottles in the supermarket, but there’s news: they’re now also available in cans. I think that’s a pretty big plus, especially with the lovely weather on the way. Beer (or any other liquid, for that matter) gets cold faster in a can, which is very handy when you take it with you in a cooler. Add to that the fact that no sunlight reaches canned beer, so it stays tastier anyway.

So you can imagine, tonight—and actually all weekend—I’ll be enjoying drinks because I’ve stocked up. Alternating between a Mooie Nel IPA and a Jopen Non-IPA. Conveniently, they’re available in 4-packs. You can also order them through the website.
