Licorice? Ice cream? Who says you can’t have both?

Have you also been stuck at home with your child(ren) for weeks, forcing hours of schoolwork through every day while trying to keep all the balls in the air? And do you also think every day, as soon as the last little document has been sent to the teacher, ‘Thank God the weather is nice, outside you go!!!’? And do you send them out with an ice cream so they’ll be sweet for a while (read: stay in the garden for a few hours so you can try to drink pick up the pieces of your patience)?

Venco, a licorice maker from the very beginning, is making excellent use of the wonderful spring weather we’ve already had and, judging by the looks of it, will be enjoying for a while yet. Our freezers are bursting with handy food to keep, the occasional bottle of vodka, and ice creams in all shapes and sizes. We’ve noticed that these can easily fit in too!

The Venco ice creams come in the familiar chalk and licorice-fruit duo varieties, and although you shouldn’t try them if you don’t like licorice (tourists aren’t allowed into the country at the moment anyway), they’re a fun wink to everyone who can polish off a bag of the stuff.
