Recipe: Bloody Mary popsicles

A Bloody Mary is known as the ultimate hangover cure and the ideal airplane drink, but did you know you can also turn it into popsicles for grown-ups? You can whip up these tomato juice and vodka popsicles in just fifteen minutes. Leave them in the freezer overnight, and then: voilà!

Mix the tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, pickle juice, Tabasco and lime juice together in a large measuring jug. Carefully pour into the popsicle molds and place a celery stick in each popsicle.
Freeze for 6 hours (preferably longer).
Pouring some hot water over the molds makes it easy to remove the popsicles. Sprinkle a little salt over them before eating.
Tip: those celery sticks look nice, but they turn to mush in the freezer. Do you find sticky fingers less bothersome than a photogenic popsicle? Then go for it. But these popsicles are much easier to eat with wooden popsicle sticks.
