Lidl recalls hemp tea: it contains too much weed (haha)

Hilarious news if you ask me: Lidl’s hemp tea turns out to contain too much weed. Isn’t that actually really tasty? I’m genuinely annoyed that it’s been removed from the shelves, now that I know something like hemp tea containing too much weed actually exists!

But Lidl clearly sees things very differently and refers to an elevated level of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) found in the tea. ‘Consuming this tea may have undesirable health effects, such as mood swings and fatigue.’ Mood swings aren’t great, but getting extra good sleep after a cup of hemp tea—that sounds absolutely wonderful to me.
