Lifegoals: Domino’s Pizza is looking for a professional pizza taster
Yooo, I’m quitting my job. Just like that. For years, I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do with my life, and I thought writing was the be-all and end-all for me, but I was wrong. And I guess you only know that once you’ve really found your dream job. The kind that makes you think: yes, this was made for me. So, there you have it: see ya.
What am I going to do? I’m going to work at Domino’s Pizza. And not as a pizza delivery driver, not making the pizzas, no, not even answering the phones. I’m becoming a professional pizza taster!
Getting paid to eat pizza—who wouldn’t want that?
Admittedly, I haven’t got the job yet. But it feels good. And before you jump to conclusions: this is a real job. They’re looking for people both part-time and full-time, and you can apply here. Though I have to say, the text under the heading ‘What do you get in return?’ worries me a little. It says ‘an pricelessly fun working atmosphere’, which is usually jargon for ‘minimum wage’. But hey, at least you’d be a professional pizza taster.
Because that’s what you have to do: judge Domino’s Pizza’s pizzas. And then film and photograph it and post it all over social media. So the profile also says that you should get excited about likes, comments and thumbs-ups. But perhaps the very best thing about this job (besides eating pizza, of course) is that you get to set your own hours. And they’re looking for people aged sixteen and up. Whut, this really would have been my dream job if I were still in high school.
