Magna Plaza is getting a food hall

Did you always go to Magna Plaza to shop? No, neither did we. That’s why things aren’t going so well for the Amsterdam shopping centre, but that will soon change. From this spring, the food court will be the main attraction, with the arrival of well-known Amsterdam restaurants and new eateries.

Don’t worry if you’re a true shopaholic: you can still shop at Magna Plaza, but everything is going to be overhauled. A lot of attention is also being paid to food, with various food stands, a bit like at the Foodhallen.

It will be a mix of familiar restaurants and new food concepts. Editorial favourites Van ‘t Spit and THE BUTCHER will have a stand, as will established restaurants such as Toni Loco, Sushito and Bepita. One of the newer stands is LIMALIMA: a food stand taking on Nikkei cuisine, which combines Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Greek street food is the focus at LIOS, while at China Supreme you can get fresh noodles from various Chinese provinces.
The renewed food court will be open to the public from this spring, although the exact date is unfortunately not yet known.
