We already knew that you can do all sorts of things with Licor 43 (have you tried this heavenly recipe for Licor 43 apple turnovers from the Airfryer or this boozy chocolate cake with Licor 43 yet?). French toast with the Spanish liqueur is at least as irresistible.
How to make French toast with Licor 43
- Whisk the Licor 43, milk and egg in a bowl
- Dip both sides of a slice of sugar bread into the mixture
- Fry the sugar bread in a little butter or (flavourless) oil
- Serve the French toast while it is still warm
- Optionally serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a mint leaf for garnish
