Naked frikandel thief arrested
We absolutely love frikandellen, don’t get us wrong. Because there’s nothing wrong with enjoying such a delicious sausage roll from time to time, loaded with onions, curry sauce and mayo. Certainly not after midnight. But some people go very far indeed for the Netherlands’ most popular snack.
During an inspection in the Frisian town of Gytsjerk, the police came across a remarkable thief. In a container next to a snack bar, the man was looking for—yes, you guessed it: frikandellen!
In the buff
The unbelievably sketchy incident began when the police received a report of a fuel thief. One suspect was arrested, but the second suspect took off like a hare. The police continued patrolling until the naked (!) frikandel lover suddenly appeared. With his own frikandel dangling between his legs.
In handcuffs
Completely stark naked, he tried to make his escape, but to no avail. After a brief scuffle, he was put in handcuffs. We’re eagerly awaiting the video footage.
