New: Magioni donates with their Titza to Pink Ribbon

Do you remember those vague Facebook campaigns that used to go around? Women would suddenly post a color (which I think was the color of their underwear), or food (what they had eaten for breakfast), and at first nobody knew exactly what it was about, but eventually it turned out to be about raising awareness for breast cancer. To be completely honest: I never really understood those campaigns. Raising awareness for Pink Ribbon and their fight against breast cancer is of course always a good thing, but how can you support them even more? Exactly. With money.

Seems more than logical to me, but I’m guessing that a truly minimal percentage of all those people who posted all kinds of colors on their Facebook walls actually donated. No, then this campaign. Pizza brand Magioni is going to donate to Pink Ribbon—and that’s already a win-win anyway, because they’re my favorite pizzas available in the supermarket.
Far fewer carbohydrates
Because: they’re simply incredibly delicious, and that’s the most important thing. But also: the crusts contain far fewer carbohydrates because the dough also consists of, for example, cauliflower or beetroot. And no, you can’t taste that. And no, it ultimately isn’t as healthy anymore when you make it the way I often do (with extra blue cheese, Parma ham and truffle sauce). But anyway, they are very delicious.

Eating pizza for a good cause
For their donation project for Pink Ribbon, they designed the Titza, for women with a Tietel. Exactly, it’s all about the boobs. The Titza has a cauliflower crust and is otherwise a Margherita with a tomato in the middle. So that it looks like… indeed: a breast. One euro from every pizza sold goes to Pink Ribbon. They are available exclusively at Jumbo and, well, to cut a long story short: let’s all eat pizza for a good cause. Doesn’t exactly sound like a punishment to me. And, secretly also very nice: it contains only 356 kcal.
Do your bit too (or actually your pizza slice) for Pink Ribbon’s mission (a better life for breast cancer patients in all stages of this disease). Will you have a slice too? It’s in your breast interest.
