New TikTok trend: iced by Smirnoff Ice
Yo, TikTok: 2010 called, they want their trend back. Yes, seriously, I’m suddenly seeing people who have been iced everywhere. What does that mean? That you’re surprised by a bottle of Smirnoff Ice—not as a gift, but because you happen to find one somewhere someone has left for you—and then have to chug the whole thing. Is it gross? Absolutely.
And this trend already existed in 2010, it even has its own Wikipedia page. It says there that it’s a ‘game’, but holy shit, I do not think this is a fun game.

Because if you’re thinking; that should be easy… Let me tell you right now that it’s not one of those little bottles. No, it’s the 75cl monsters. Which you then have to drink in one go. Hallelujah, I already struggle to drink 75cl of water in one go, let alone that sweet muck.
No, I think I’ll skip this trend for now. And the friend who had to cancel drinks with me this weekend because of extreme hangover misery from this icing game will be leaving it alone for a while too, she said. Because apparently Smirnoff Ice hangovers are no fun.
