Next-level wine bar: wine escape room
Anyone who follows us even a little knows that we love wine and wine bars. In fact, for the annual Wine Bar of the Year awards, we spent the past few weeks scouring the Netherlands in search of the best wine bar in the country (and this is the winner). Our next mission: visit this wine escape room!
The Netherlands’ first wine escape room is opening its doors in Apeldoorn soon. Tasting wines to crack a secret safe: it sounds so delicious that we’re wondering whether we even want to escape.
Tasting = cracking the safe = keeping the wine
Originally, Evviva wine bar in Apeldoorn was simply meant to be a place to enjoy wine. It still is, but something extra has been added. During the escape, you taste different wines to crack the safe containing the ultimate wine. Meanwhile, the clock keeps ticking… Can you crack the safe holding that delicious bottle? Then you get to keep it! But the big question, of course, is: do you really want to escape from this wine heaven?
Escaping from a wine tasting
Wijn Escape opens on January 18. And we’ll raise a glass to that right away: locations in Amsterdam, Groningen and Utrecht are in the pipeline.
