Now open: THE BAB in Amsterdam East

Korean restaurants are springing up like mushrooms, and Amsterdam East has gained another Korean hotspot. Do you love bibimbap? Then head to THE BAB, and quickly.

For your Korean fix, you should definitely stop by THE BAB in Amsterdam East. They serve the most delicious fresh Korean dishes here. All the classics are on the menu, and you can also have everything packed up to take away.
Bibimbap
If you look at their Instagram, your mouth will already be watering. With a name like that, it could hardly be otherwise than for the popular bibimbap to be on the menu, but there is more. They also serve Korean fried chicken, deopbap (rice with toppings, similar to bibimbap), gim bap (a type of Korean sushi) and kimchi pancakes. With each dish, you choose between ‘spicy’ and ‘soy’, so you decide how hot you want it.
Have you ever eaten a Korean dessert? We haven’t, but the Korean pancakes with caramelised brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon seem like the perfect excuse to change that. Naturally, they also have plenty of Korean beer in stock, as well as lightly sparkling wine and traditional Korean tea.
THE BAB is currently still in its pre-opening phase and is open every day except Wednesday and Sunday from 11:00 to 15:00. From 18 March, THE BAB will be open on the same days, but from 11:30 to 20:00.
