OMG, Aldi has a white chocolate liqueur

White chocolate. I’m absolutely crazy about it (wild is a better word). And not just an ordinary piece of white chocolate, no, anything with a white chocolate flavor rocks my boat. Ice cream, mousse, sauce — SO DELICIOUS. And now I’ve stumbled upon something… Hallelujah!

At Aldi, or Knaldi as I prefer to call it, you can buy SO many great things. Such as… white chocolate liqueur… oh boy…
Ballycastle White Chocolate Cream
According to the description, it’s best served chilled, with ice. It’s wonderfully creamy, with that white chocolate flavor. They call it a ‘luxurious creamy blend of alcohol’ themselves, and I’ll take Aldi at its word. I have to take their word for it, too, because testing it myself unfortunately isn’t possible yet — this creamy temptress isn’t available in the Netherlands yet. Emphasis on yet.
But if you happen to be heading to England (I consider that reasonably unlikely at the moment, thanks ‘rona), you can take it off the shelf there. That’s where it is available.

Buuuut don’t be disappointed: there’s a reasonably to very good chance that we’ll get it in the Netherlands too. Many things that first launched at Aldi in England can now also be found here, and because it contains only 12% alcohol, this white chocolate liqueur can simply be sold in supermarkets too. Does anyone feel called upon to start a petition for this, or shall we just wait and see?
