Foodhallen 2.0

In Amsterdam, you have the Foodhallen. You guessed it: a hall full of food. The second Foodhallen location recently opened in Rotterdam, and in the south of the Netherlands you can also enjoy an indoor food festival. Eindhoven is home to the Down Town Gourmet Market. Here, you can enjoy what 21 individual kitchens have to offer. Having trouble choosing? Then just get a few small bites. And if you’re with a group, visit all 21 kitchens. No problem at all.

From potatoes to empanadas

The kitchens are incredibly varied. You can go for stuffed potatoes from Pim’s (magic) Potatoes, Pietza, Turkish food, dumplings at Mantu to Go, South American empanadas… There’s something for everyone. You’re also in the right place for dessert, because IJssalon Kees serves ice cream and waffles, Just Say Cheese offers a divine cheese board and The PNCK Company makes pancakes.

Budget-friendly

Of course, it varies by kitchen and by type of bite how much you’ll have to pay in the end, but we can assure you that you can definitely eat well for less than twenty euros. For example, you can get a delicious potato from Pim for just €4.50, a crispy calamari Pietza for €9.50 and a delicious Turkish pizza for €4.50. You might not even be able to finish all of that on your own.
