On a road trip with Gordon
He usually berates people in restaurants, but Gordon Ramsay’s latest series is a lot more cheerful. In Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip, the chef tours Europe with his best mates.
In the three-part series, Gordon travels to the countries of origin of each of his two friends and himself. Gordon is from Scotland, chef Gino is from Italy and host Fred Sirieix is French. If you’re wondering where you know Fred from: he is the host of the British version of the programme First Dates.
Each episode focuses on the home country of one of the three men. They search for the best local ingredients and end up at the most spectacular locations. At the end of each episode, the men cook a grand dinner using those wonderful ingredients.
We don’t know whether Gordon gets just as grumpy driving a campervan as he does in the kitchen. You’ll have to watch for yourself. You can do so on Videoland.
