Opening soon: Pizza Locale (pizza with Nutella, anyone?)
At a new pizzeria opening in Rotterdam in March, pizzas with Nutella, Oreos and fries will be on the menu. The pizza chain Pizza Locale is already a success in Turkey and Azerbaijan. After Rotterdam, more branches will follow in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
The pizza makers expect the renovation of the first branch in Rotterdam to be completed in about four weeks. That is why they will soon start holding demos to find out which flavors will appeal to people in the Netherlands. In the Turkish branches, the sweet varieties are a huge success; the menu includes, among other things, banana and strawberry pizza, Toblerone pizza, pizza with Oreos or Nutella, and a calzone with white chocolate.
Fries pizza with melted cheese
Rotterdam, don’t be afraid: the new pizzeria also has regular pizzas on the menu, as well as a considerable number of vegetarian options. Especially for Azerbaijani pizza lovers, the fries pizza was developed: a base made of fries, covered with melted cheese, chicken and sausage. The entrepreneurs expect this pizza in particular to become a hit in the Netherlands too.
