Prosecco lovers: time to move, start packing

A huge estate in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with stables, ten houses, a swimming pool and its own chapel, has recently put up a for-sale sign in the garden. And the ultimate reason to empty your piggy bank: the estate comes with a twenty-hectare vineyard where prosecco grapes are grown, exclusively for you.

The magnificent estate is located in the Italian province of Pordenone, in the north-east of the wine region of Friuli. A hilly area bordering Austria and Slovenia. Beautiful, of course, but besides the ten houses, a beautifully landscaped garden as large as a football field and a swimming pool, the reason to set off immediately is, naturally: the vineyards. Twenty hectares of vineyard are planted with glera grapes for prosecco, and thirty hectares are currently rented out to someone else.

Ten living spaces, that is, on your new estate. Added together, they amount to thirty bedrooms and 29 bathrooms, so a cleaner might be useful. The most beautiful house on the grounds is the eighteenth-century villa, which was extensively renovated in 2003. It has a function room and a substantial kitchen, so there is no problem if you want to throw a party sometime. Everyone can stay the night, because there are thirteen bedrooms and fifteen bathrooms, and on Sunday morning you can go to your own chapel, with room for forty people.

Can you already see yourself sitting there, a glass of bubbles in your hand? Now for the hard reality: the estate is for sale through Christies Real Estate for 11.5 million euros.
