Queen Elizabeth is looking for a royal chef (again)
Was the food not good? Was the work too hard? Was the pay too low? Or does The Queen’s chef simply need an extra pair of hands? Either way: Queen Elizabeth is looking for a chef again!
In March this year, there was already a job vacancy from the British royal household. We will probably never know why Her Majesty is looking for a new chef again so soon.
Either way: Buckingham Palace has an immediate opening for a ‘Demi Chef de Partie’ (a chef who supports one specific section of the kitchen) who must meet the ‘highest standards’. That means: plenty of experience at the highest level, as well as enough flexibility to cook for the British royals in different castles throughout the country. Don’t count your riches just yet, though—the pay isn’t exactly generous: 2,000 euros gross per month.
