Question of the day: why aren’t there (more) all-you-can-eat pizzerias?

If there’s one thing that makes me really happy, it’s free stuff. Or getting good value for my money. The saying ‘sitting in the front row for a dime’ certainly doesn’t apply only to me. You’re also really happy when you eat incredibly delicious food for a very reasonable price, right? It feels a bit like you’ve won the lottery.

And that combined with large quantities, because people often think that eating more food for a reasonable price is a total win-win situation. But unfortunately, that doesn’t always work out; I don’t find many all-you-can-eat restaurants particularly tasty. You eat far too much and not a single dish scores higher than a 6.

Isn’t this the best idea of the day, week, month, YEAR?!

But that’s sushi—and what if you applied the all-you-can-eat concept to another cuisine? Take pizza; even if it’s not that great, it’s still pretty good. So I started wondering: why on earth aren’t there more all-you-can-eat pizzerias?! When I search for those terms on Google, I get one option in Aachen, one in Rotterdam and one in Utrecht. That’s it. Sorry, but isn’t this a real gap in the market?!

Just imagine: for, say, 30 euros, as much pizza as you can eat. I always suffer from choice paralysis (ideally, I’d have two different halves, otherwise I get FOMO), so how perfect would it be to have a slice of pepperoni (the all-time favorite pizza topping), then quattro formaggi, then a margherita… You can make it as wild as you like, until you’re completely stuffed? And for that 30 euros, add a tiramisu option for dessert as well.

Can someone please set this up?

I hope I’m not the only one who gets incredibly passionate and excited about this. If someone ever sets this up, let me know, because I’ll become a regular. And now I’ve been thinking about nothing but pizza for over an hour and I’m hungry. Honestly, I know it for sure: this is a gap in the market.
