Add to that the fact that slushy cocktail season is officially on, put on your frozen margarita hat, and start mixing for the cheeriest Blue Frozen Margaritas on the entire rooftop terrace:

How to make Frozen Blue Margaritas

  • Mix sugar and salt on a saucer.
  • Run a lime wedge around the rims of the glasses and dip them in the sugar/salt mixture.
  • Put the muscat wine, Blue Curaçao, tequila, triple sec and lime juice in the blender and blend with the ice cubes (start with 2 handfuls) until you have a lovely slush puppy consistency.
  • Add more ice if necessary and continue blending.
  • Divide between 4 glasses (or, if you’re still into jam jars, use those), put the berries on a cocktail pick and garnish the glasses with lime wedges and the picks.
  • Cheers!
