Kaassoesjes

Cheese lovers, pay attention! Research has shown that eating cheese makes you live longer. So hurry up and make these delicious cheese puffs from the Airfryer. Great as a (drinks) snack and, well, you certainly won’t be the first to enjoy these for breakfast too. I’d say: turn on the Airfryer and start baking!

How to make the filled cheese puffs:

  • Mix the flour, salt and nutmeg together in a bowl.
  • Bring the water and butter to the boil in a large saucepan. Add the flour all at once.
  • Stir well with a wooden spoon until you have a smooth dough.
  • Return the pan to the heat and continue mixing for another 2 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and add the eggs one at a time, stirring continuously.
  • Use a piping bag to make small mounds on the grill pan accessory and bake the puffs for approx. 15 minutes at 160 degrees in the Airfryer. The puffs are already delicious now, but you can also fill them:
  • Make the filling by whisking the cream cheese and grated cheese until light and airy with a mixer.
  • Add some cream to make the mousse a little smoother. Season with the smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Fill the puffs with the cheese cream using a piping bag.
