How people manage without an Airfryer at home, we’ll never understand. Because how else can you whip up nacho todos, frikandel spring rolls or extra-crispy pork belly in the blink of an eye? And now this idea too: tiny apple turnovers. Brilliant! They look a little like those rectangular apple turnovers McDonald’s sold for a while, but they’re even tastier!

Look how handy this is!

How to make mini apple turnovers from the Airfryer:

  • Cut the apples into tiny pieces and mix in the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Place a thawed sheet of puff pastry on the ice cube tray. Press the dough into the cavities with your fingers, but be careful not to tear it.
  • Now fill the cavities with the chopped apple.
  • Place another sheet of puff pastry on top of the tray and roll over it firmly with a rolling pin.
  • Cut away the excess dough. Turn the tray over onto a cutting board.
  • Separate the apple turnovers and place them on a piece of parchment paper.
  • Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with a little (brown) sugar.
  • Bake the apple turnovers for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.
Look how delicious!
