Bored with your daily yoghurt with granola? Make it exciting again with this homemade jam.

Method

Heat two cups of fresh or frozen fruit—such as cherries or blueberries—in a saucepan until the fruit releases its juices. Remove from the heat, add a teaspoon of lemon juice, two tablespoons of chia seeds, and honey or maple syrup to taste.

Leave to stand for twenty minutes, until the seeds have absorbed all the liquid and you are left with a kind of jam.

Take a glass or bowl and start with a layer of jam, followed by a layer of yoghurt. Sara recommends coconut yoghurt or Greek yoghurt. Continue with a layer of granola. Repeat these steps once more and voilà.
