Recipe: how to make perfect potato gratin (delicious as a side dish)

These little potato gratins are such a lovely side dish. But of course, you can also make one large dish! Whatever you prefer.
How to make the mini potato gratins with green asparagus
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C and grease four small oven dishes with a little oil or butter.
- Boil the potato slices for 8 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the cooking cream with the Gruyère and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
- Roughly chop the hazelnuts.
- Divide the potato slices among the four dishes, divide the asparagus tips over them and pour the cream-and-cheese mixture on top.
- Finish with the hazelnuts and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
