Sauce lovers, take note: Remia has a curry sauce with a cola flavour
Curry with a cola flavour; it sounds like a, uh… unusual combination, but according to its creators, the spicy and sweet sauce goes well with fries, toasted sandwiches, burgers and frikandellen.
A dollop of curry here, a splash of cola there
And now that I think about it; it’s actually bizarre that cola & curry have never ended up in a squeeze bottle before; they go very well together. ‘People often drink cola with fries, and cola and curry are both sweet,’ Remia told Snackkoerier. And in Germany, they have been eating cola curry with their beloved bratwursts for some time already.
First
The idea for curry with a cola flavour arose during a study trip by snack chain Snackpoint to Florida, where the average snack bar visitor eagerly licks all ten fingers clean. During this trip, they sampled plenty of snacks, including lots of different sauce flavours. A number of samples were then taken back to the Netherlands. And that’s when Remia’s product developers began their great experiment.
