Things that make me happy: drinks after work on Friday, Moscow Mules and dinner at McDonald’s. Yes, life can be that simple. Ask me for an ode to a Big Mac and I’ll keep you entertained for an hour. But dinner at Restaurant de Gouden Bogen is obviously not complete without a high-quality dessert. And of course, I mean a McFlurry.
But going to the golden arches every day… That’s not exactly #lifegoals either. And of course there’s UberEATS, but it doesn’t do the quality of the burgers and ice cream any favours. So if you can’t go to the Maccie, why not simply bring the Maccie to you? Thanks to AliExpress—is there anything you can’t order through AliExpress?!—you can now really make McFlurrys at home too, brilliant!

Simply via this link. It will set you back a bit—around 400 euros—but then you can make any flavours and combinations you want. I’m definitely going for caramel, white chocolate and crunch. How delicious is that? Or with marshmallows. Popcorn (is that a weird combo? It actually sounds pretty tasty to me). Maybe a splash of Italian liqueur Frangelico. Oooh yes, Frangelico. The machine may not look particularly trendy, but I’m sold!
