Send a sweet video message to your favorite restaurant and get a chance to win a Michelin-star meal box

sterrenchefs

Imagine it being your birthday today (oui, c’est moi) and not being able to do what you love most: eat out. Because that still isn’t possible – and I’m slowly going crazy missing it. And of course, you are too! For everyone who misses the hospitality industry so incredibly much and especially wants to support it with kind words, TheFork has come up with something lovely.

To encourage restaurant owners, chefs and waiting staff, TheFork is calling on everyone to submit a heartfelt message for the restaurant industry via video. Let them know why you miss your favorite restaurant or chef so much and why you can’t wait for the hospitality industry to reopen. TheFork will personally deliver the video messages to the restaurants on Valentine’s Day.

An extra kiss for the waiting staff

It’s not just the chef, but certainly the waiting staff who deserve a big hug too. Because my goodness, what a challenging job that is! Have you just polished off your ‘delicious’ staff meal, and then you have to deal with the most bizarre requests from guests… You’d have to be up for it.

Let love rule

It’s not just us who regularly hear (sad) stories from our friends in the hospitality industry (have you read this inside story yet?), TheFork is in daily contact with restaurants and hears not only positive stories, but also many sad ones. By calling on the people of the Netherlands to share their kind, heartwarming messages with restaurants, they hope to bring restaurant owners a little positivity and love during this difficult time.

Get a chance to win a delicious star meal box

Do you have a personal video message for your favorite restaurant? Send it to love@thefork.com. One lucky submission will win a delicious Michelin-star meal box for 2 people, created by restaurant Ratatouille* in Haarlem. You can find all the information here about the video message, how to send it and the terms and conditions.
