So cute: Ben & Jerry’s is launching ice cream for dogs

Those four-legged friends have really got it made. There has been wine for dogs for a while now, which I think is incredibly fun for the Friday afternoon drinks, but now snacks for our pets are also being considered. And not those standard dog biscuits, because they’ve definitely seen enough of those by now. No, this is much better: Ben & Jerry’s is launching dog ice cream. HOW BRILLIANT?!

The new line is called Doggie Desserts. And no, in case you’re wondering: it’s not suitable for humans. Although I am secretly curious what it tastes like…
Pontch’s Mix and Rosie Batch
Even more luxurious, there are two options as well: Pontch’s Mix and Rosie Batch. The first has peanut butter and pretzels, while the second contains pieces of pumpkin and cookies. And does Pontch’s Mix remind you of anything? That’s right! Netflix & Chilll’d contains similar ingredients: peanut butter ice cream, sweet & salty pretzel swirls and pieces of brownie fudge. From now on, you won’t have to worry about a large (or small) dog tongue hanging in your tub when you’re not paying attention, because your doggie will simply have its own ice cream.
We just have to wait and see whether, and when, we’ll be able to buy it in the Netherlands. You can already order it on the website, of course, but it would be even more fun if we could soon just pick it up at Appie. It probably won’t be long. Stock up on that wine for your dog and you’ll have the ultimate ingredients for a cozy night on the couch together, right?!
