The Dog Ate My Cake
You can’t really blame them: these dogs stuck their snouts into the buttercream… The unique cakes by Darci from Alberta, Canada are beautiful. And especially the ones featuring innocent-looking dogs have stolen our hearts.
Recognizable: the look on a dog’s face after it has just done something it really wasn’t allowed to do. Knocked over the trash can, eaten the cat food or dug up the lawn, moi? And cake artist Darci has captured that look beautifully in a few of her creations. The dogs gaze innocently at you from the edge of a wedding cake. Eat cake? Me? But the dollop of buttercream on their snouts says it all.

Darci also makes more traditional wedding cakes, with flowers. Drip cakes, birthday cakes with Minions, a giant sneaker… incredibly impressive. But the dog cakes have truly stolen our hearts.
