Who will take part in Heel Holland Bakt?
Heel Holland Bakt is looking for contestants for the new season. Can you bake better than Anouk, the winner of last season? And do you think you can give the television show a little extra oemph? Then this is your chance—sign up by March 30.
What is the editorial team looking for? People with product knowledge, a little stress resistance and lots of enthusiasm for baking can apply to Blue Circle Casting. Naturally, the editorial team wants to know all about you when you apply: how often do you bake per week, do you have a signature dish and where does your passion for baking come from? This is followed by a whole series of questions to assess your baking level: what is the most difficult cake you have ever made, how often do you bake bread and can you bake tarts? Then just share your holiday plans for summer 2020, sum up your character in a few words, add a photo and hit send!

Let’s be honest, last season of Heel Holland Bakt was a little boring. There’s nothing wrong with baking—it was wonderfully cozy and homely—but for television, it could all be a little more colorful and exciting. So here goes: we’re calling on all the Martien Meilands and Britt Dekkers of the baking world to respond, so that next season we can once again watch Heel Holland Bakt on the edge of our seats.
