So delicious: you can now buy frozen churros for the Airfryer (+ recipe for chocolate sauce)

Fresh from the stall at the fair, with your morning coffee, as a festive dessert or simply as an original treat: churros are unbelievably delicious. Making churros yourself is easy, but buying a bag from the freezer is even easier!

Warm, crispy on the outside, light dough on the inside and deliciously sweet. Churros are popular not only in Spanish-speaking countries; the snack is hugely popular in the Netherlands too. The only downside is that the snack is deep-fried and therefore perhaps not the healthiest. The solution: the oven or Airfryer. That makes them much less greasy!
Oh yes!
Aviko’s churros for the oven and Airfryer are new to the PLUS range. You buy the churros frozen, and they are ready after just a few minutes of baking. Mmmm… freshly baked churros… That’s what you want!

The Spanish sweet snack is already bueno with just some cinnamon sugar or icing sugar, but it’s truly delicious with chocolate sauce. That’s how they do it in Spain, after all. And you can easily make this warm chocolate sauce yourself while the churros become crispy. Put 5 or 6 tablespoons of cocoa powder in a small bowl and add a very small amount of warm milk. Stir until smooth, then dip away!
