Star chef Erik van Loo opens new restaurant in The Hague
A new culinary hotspot is coming to The Hague! Chef Erik van Loo, known for the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Parkheuvel, will open his newest restaurant, EVE Paleisstraat by Erik van Loo, in mid-January 2026. Located opposite Noordeinde Palace, in an iconic building at Paleisstraat 2, this restaurant offers a unique combination of refined French signature cuisine and the historic charm of The Hague.
Culinary heart of ADAM+EVE
Erik van Loo has joined an exciting new restaurant concept in collaboration with RE:BORN, the sustainable developer of iconic buildings in The Hague such as De Pier and EVE Scheveningen. The restaurant forms the culinary heart of the boutique hospitality concept ADAM+EVE. This concept has already breathed new life into iconic buildings and combines heritage, design and accessible fine dining.
In addition to the restaurant, Paleisstraat 2 will also feature eight Palace Suites and two Imperial Suites, where guests can stay in an elegant interior blending classic craftsmanship with modern luxury.
From French signature cuisine to accessible gastronomy
“I see EVE Paleisstraat as a unique opportunity to combine my passion for refined gastronomy with a historic setting. It is a place where craftsmanship and experience come together,” says Erik van Loo. With EVE Paleisstraat, the chef wants to make high-quality gastronomy accessible to a broader audience. “Good gastronomy does not have to be aloof or unaffordable.” The restaurant serves food throughout the day: from a perfect cup of coffee with refined patisserie to extensive multi-course menus that reflect Van Loo’s refined cuisine.
