Supermarket hit: Lidl’s advent calendar with chocolate liqueurs

December is the month when we shamelessly and relentlessly eat anything and everything. So it’s nice if our pantry is well stocked as standard this month. What you really don’t want to miss? The advent calendar with chocolate liqueurs from Anthon Berg, available at Lidl. 

Actually, the words ‘chocolate’ and ‘liqueur’ should be enough to make you sprint to Lidl right now. For good measure, I’ll tell you a little more about this amazing gift. The advent calendar of 2024, if you ask us.

Liquid gold in chocolate

The advent calendar opens like a gigantic Sinterklaas book. Inside, however, you’ll find something a little more adult than innocent children’s rhymes and wish lists—chocolate liqueurs, indeed. These are chocolate-shaped bottles filled with liqueur. Just imagine what that heavenly taste sensation is like. You bite off a piece of chocolate, after which a sharp little liqueur glides down your throat like liquid gold. I know, beautiful words can make anything sound delicious. But this really is a very realistic description of the experience.

24 days of enjoyment

There are 24 compartments and therefore 24 bottles inside. That means 24 days of enjoyment. There’s a bit of everything, from sweet coffee liqueur to robust whisky. No doubt there are liqueurs to suit your taste, too. And otherwise, you surely have a partner, friend or family member who would be more than happy to try one of these chocolate liqueurs. With so many liqueurs, you must have to pay quite a lot for it. Right? No way! As I said, you can get this advent calendar at Lidl. Then you know you’re in the right place price-wise. For € 12.99, you can already bring this top gift home. That’s practically nothing, right? We also spotted a smaller version containing 16 chocolate liqueurs. You just don’t get those in the form of an advent calendar, but in a standard box. This one also contains a lovely selection of liqueurs, including Licor 43. It costs € 7.99.

Both products are available for a limited time, and we’re guessing they’ll sell out incredibly quickly. Because they’re amazingly delicious, but also come at an unbelievably good price. I feel like I’ve typed this before, but… Sprint to Lidl!
