Supermarkets warn: Chocolate chip cookies contain metal particles
Albert Heijn has issued an important safety warning and has decided to remove the AH Choc Chip cookies from stores immediately. Other supermarkets are following suit. What’s going on?
Albert Heijn has decided to immediately recall the 200-gram AH Choc Chip cookies in the following varieties: AH Choc Chip Double Choc (best before 12-09-2024), AH Choc Chip Red Velvet (best before 13-09-2024) and AH Choc Chip Lemon Flavour (best before 05-09-2024). The product may contain small metal particles.
Return AH choc chip cookies to the store
Customers are urgently requested not to eat the above-mentioned AH choc chip cookies and to return them to an Albert Heijn store. Upon returning the product, you will receive a refund of the purchase price.
