Survey among McDonald’s fans produces hilarious results

You’re crazy about the Mac or you’re not, and if you are, well – then you’re sometimes genuinely a little crazy, mwahahaha. Not necessarily you personally, of course, but read on to see the hilarious results of a survey conducted by British agency OnePoll…

The poll focused on the feelings of fans who had had to do without the Mac during lockdown in the United Kingdom, and were now allowed to go all out again for the first time. The results are not (yet) available from OnePoll, but British media are already reporting that the answers (from 1,000 fast-food fanatics) are extremely surprising! Are you guilty of any of this too?
17% of those surveyed said that the taste of a Big Mac, after having had to go without one during the strict lockdown, was better than a pay rise. Uh, what?
One in 20 would break up with a partner if they secretly went to the Mac alone and were caught after weeks of (Mac) abstinence. That relationship probably wasn’t going so well anyway…
One in 10 saw the above as cheating, period. Strict bunch, those Mac lovers!
One in five were happier that they were allowed to go to or drive past the Mac again than when ‘their’ football team would win the league. Apparently, a supporter’s love really does go through the stomach.
One in 10 would rather live without a mobile phone than without a Big Mac. Okay…
Some people may not have the most unique memories of their wedding day, because 13% said that having McDonald’s for the first time after the lockdown felt just as good as that day. What is your answer to that?
And then there are the truly crazy ones: 16% said that the feeling of being reunited with the Mac was comparable to the birth of their first child… (Who ARE these people??)
And what may sound like music to the ears of the Jellinek clinics and the government: 46% said they would give up alcohol before giving up their favourite burger. Cheers!
