Tarantula burger, who dares?

Thought you’d seen it all after a ramen burger, sushi burger and weed burger? There’s now a tarantula burger.

You might think you’d have to travel to exotic destinations for this daring bite, but that’s not the case: the American city of Durham, in North Carolina, is the place to be.
As part of their ‘exotic meat month’, Bull City Burger and Brewery is serving this burger with a zebra tarantula topping.
You can’t just order one. You have to put down thirty dollars to enter a kind of ‘tarantula raffle’. One ‘lucky winner’ is selected every day. Eighteen in total. Whoever keeps it down also gets a t-shirt.
The reactions so far? Bitter, crabby and slightly metallic. Would you dare?
This is Martha. Martha successfully ate a burger, topped with a tarantula this evening. Think you could? Sign up for the challenge & if your name is chosen, you’ll have the chance. #BCBBExoticMeats #BCBBExotixMeatMonth

I made it on @HuffPost! I can attest that each bite did taste different. Much more bitter than I expected https://t.co/iyojfb0VLX
