Tasting in the Kookgoot

From 26 May through 28 May, Rotterdam city centre celebrates during the Stadsfestival Op z’n Rotterdams, and when it comes to food, you need to be in the Koopgoot. It will temporarily be transformed into a culinary paradise: the Kookgoot.

On the Beurstraverse, which is actually what the Koopgoot is called, there will be space for three days for fully set dinner tables, pop-up restaurants, terraces and demo stands.

Programme

Several chefs will be present at the demo stands. They will demonstrate their culinary skills à la minute. And of course, you don’t just have to watch. There will also be plenty to eat in the Kookgoot.

A different chef will drop by every hour, and if you visit the Stadsfestival Op z’n Rotterdams, you can join the table and dine for free if a spot is still available. So arriving on time is important.

You can start tasting all weekend from 12:00. On 26 May, you can eat until 21:00, while on the 27th and 28th you can eat until 18:00.
