The Avocado Show opens new restaurant in Amsterdam

For Instagrammable avocado dishes, The Avocado Show in Amsterdam is the place to be—we’ve known that for ages. The restaurant has been a huge success since opening. No wonder they’re opening another location already, the third one to be exact.

Avocado for breakfast, lunch or dinner: at The Avocado Show, it’s all possible. And of course, all those dishes go straight to your Instagram feed.
Avocado burgers
At The Avocado Show on the Keizersgracht (formerly home to Café Walem), everything comes together: breakfast, lunch, dinner and to-go. “The restaurant will have approximately seventy seats, plus a terrace with probably twenty seats,” co-owner Ron Simpson tells Misset Horeca. The official opening date is not yet known, but the avocado paradise is expected to open in May. What’s on the menu? “The poké bowls, burgers and salads for sure, but ultimately much more,” Simpson tells het Parool.
First avocado restaurant
In the summer of 2018, Ron Simpson and Julian Zaal had already expanded with a to-go location: The Avocado Show Boutique on Willemsparkweg in Amsterdam Zuid. In November, the largest location opened in Brussels, spread over two floors. The Avocado Show is Europe’s first avocado restaurant and opened in Amsterdam’s De Pijp in March 2017. Before the restaurant had even opened, it already had more than 50,000 fans on social media. The fanbase has now grown to 119,000 followers on Instagram. #amazing
