The Netherlands’ Largest Michelin-Starred Restaurant Opens Next Year
Start saving and block your calendar. Next March, Kasteel de Wittenburg in Wassenaar will be the Netherlands’ largest Michelin-starred restaurant for four days. Ten Michelin-starred chefs are joining forces for this star-studded food festival. Who are the chefs, and what can you expect? We’ll tell you!
Largest Michelin-starred restaurant in Wassenaar
From Thursday, March 27 to Sunday, March 30, Kasteel de Wittenburg in Wassenaar will be the Netherlands’ largest Michelin-starred restaurant. In short, it’s an evening of incredibly delicious food and drinks with all the trimmings, followed by a dance.
You’ll be welcomed with bubbles and amuse-bouches. Then you’ll take a short culinary walk through the castle, where you’ll be served delicious starters. Next, you’ll take your seat in the Oranje Nassau Hall, where other chefs will be ready with their specialties. While your taste buds are working overtime, you’ll also be entertained with live music.
The evening ends with an after-party. You can choose between a relaxed after-dinner chat at the table or dancing to the beats of DJ duo Hans and Linda.

Cost and reservations
The big question, of course, is: how much does it cost to eat at the Netherlands’ largest Michelin-starred restaurant? Well: tickets start at € 359 per person. The package includes matching wines and table water, beer & soft drinks, and, of course, coffee, tea, liqueurs and petit fours after dinner.
