The Samyang instant carbonara noodles are finally available at Albert Heijn
Haaaaallelujah, praise the Lord. The day I no longer thought would ever come. When I saw it pop up on TikTok, I thought: this is a hoax. Fake news. Some prankster had simply put a few packages of Samyang hot chicken carbonara noodles (also known as the most delicious noodles ever) on the shelves at Albert Heijn, purely for the video. But no, it’s really true: from now on, we can get these ramen at Appie.
And that’s really great news, because like many others, I’m seriously addicted to them. I usually buy them at the Asian supermarket or order them online, but that’s not only more expensive — it also takes longer, while I want them immediately when I order them. Now I only have to walk to Albert Heijn, which is two minutes away from me.

My biggest fear was that these noodles would become ridiculously expensive once they ended up on supermarket shelves, but it’s not too bad at all: €1.59 per serving. So the same price as the other (less popular) varieties. I’m so curious whether people will now get tired of these ramen, although I honestly can’t imagine it: I could eat these every day and still wouldn’t get bored of them.

But because I’m of course never satisfied, I immediately have a follow-up question: Albert Heijn, could you also add the curry flavor? According to TikTok, it may be even tastier. And the hot chicken cheese could be added to the range too, please. But everything in its own time: I’m already very, very happy about this. Tip: stock up on plenty right away, because I’m guessing these will be sold out constantly… And then: pimp them up as shown below, YUM!
