These are all the winners in the new Gault&Millau guide 2022

This afternoon, the new Gault&Millau guide 2022 was festively launched at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. During the event, the Gault&Millau Awards were also presented to the winners of 2022 in categories such as ‘Chef of the Year’, ‘Young Top Chef of the Year’ and ‘Discovery of the Year’.

Restaurant guide Gault&Millau was published in digital form only this year and describes more than 840 restaurants, which are rated on a scale of 20 points. A total of 16 winners received an Award, including those for ‘Bistronomer of the Year’, ‘Sommelier of the Year’ and ‘Cocktail Bar of the Year’.
Chef of the Year
The ‘Chef of the Year’ award went this time to Syrco Bakker of restaurant Pure C in Cadzand, Zeeland. He was praised for his creative and often daring style, which also resulted in a rise to 18/20.

The ‘Young Top Chef of the Year’ award went to 28-year-old Robin van de Bunt, who has worked in kitchens since the age of 15 and took over as chef of his parents’ restaurant ‘De Leuf’ in Ubachsberg in 2017. Michael van der Kroft of restaurant Tres in Rotterdam received the award for ‘Discovery of the Year’ and enters the guide with a score of 15.5|20.
