Robert Kranenborg – Vegetable paella

The quickest dish I often make is a kind of vegetable paella. I make it with whatever vegetables I have left in the fridge at that moment. I always add pimentón (smoked paprika), garlic, onions, salt and pepper.

Jonnie Boer – North Sea red mullet with pasta

For myself, a beautiful North Sea red mullet, pan-fried skin-side down, with a little pasta. Our son Jimmie actually likes everything except bell pepper. And you can wake Isabelle up for oysters. Thérèse also really likes fish, vegetables and salads.

Jaymz Pool – Stamppot and nasi

My son loves stamppot and nasi. So one of the two.

Janny van der Heijden – Spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino
It probably won’t surprise you that it’s pasta. Preferably spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino. Depending on whether I have fresh peppers, I use those, or otherwise dried ones. I always have those at home. Which olive oil? The one with the gold label, Italian. It’s called Raineri—delicious. For me, that’s real comfort food.

Chris Naylor – Roti

I never cook something quickly. I always make time for cooking. If I really don’t have time, I get roti.
